My areas of expertise are national and international tax law. I advise international groups, small and medium sized enterprises and start-ups on all tax law issues, in particular in cross border transactions like mergers and acquisitions, financing, reorganizations and employee participation plans. In addition, I advise on tax issues in the crypto area and advise private clients in all tax matters. One of my special areas of expertise is tax litigation, in particular in the area of international tax administrative assistance. I was admitted to the Swiss bar in 2014. In 2018, I obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Cape Town in International Tax Law and in 2020 the diploma as a Swiss certified tax expert. From 2014 to 2021, I worked in the tax department of a large commercial law firm in Zurich. In 2021 I joined burckhardt in Basel.
